The CAPSI Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) Competition is an excellent opportunity for students to work together to review a patient case, identify drug therapy problems and provide recommendations using primary literature searches and established guidelines.  This two hour competition, completed in teams of four, requires teams to submit a search strategy, the evidence found, references, and written communication in the form of a SOAP note and letter to the patient.
